Brooklands Museum – discover the spirit

Brooklands Museum wanted to give their brand a modern feel and consistency, to draw in a younger target market, while still keeping their heritage alive. As the lead designer on this project I attended workshops with the client onsite to really understand the brief and the museum itself.

A key aspect of the museum rebrand was to align the different sectors within the museum. Giving a specific colour and logo to the sector meant it could be translated across the onsite wayfinding and further collateral.

Using the new identity I worked on a marketing campaign to promote the museum for the upcoming summer and school holiday period. The museum was promoted to existing visitors through organic social and email newsletters. New visitors were targeted through train advertising, leaflet drops in the local area and a paid social campaign.

As part of the campaign, I collaborated with the video team through storyboarding and art direction to create a hero video, social edits and entrance video to bring the storytelling of the brand to life.
